Ensure that the rubber side of the vinyl frame is touching the glass before lining it up in the ridge. Remove the strip the rest of the way by hand. Hole filled and sanded smooth. Insert a flat head screwdriver or the edge of a putty knife under the strip to start.

Turn the window over and use your putty knife to cut the adhesive tape holding the window in the frame. The two sides should be done last.
